Aquilino Illa, Jr DANVILLE, GA – Aquilino Illa, Jr., 73, of Second St., passed away Friday June 11, 2021 in Savannah, GA. Services will be held Wednesday June 16, 2021 at 2:30 PM, at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA. Mr. Illa, was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico. He was the son of the late Aquilino Ill, Sr. “Al” lived in New Jersey before moving to Danville, GA. He was a retired Technician with Univision Channel 41 Television, where he missed only 10 days of work in forty years. “Al” was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was Catholic. “Al” was kind, helpful, and the person in his family that everyone could count on. Survivors include his son, Michael Jonathon (Ellen) Illa. Mother, Margarita Orona Illa. Brother, Hector Illa. Sisters, Mid Laura (Bobby) Hurt, and Judith Gonzalez. Three Grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren. Visit www.reecefuneralhomeinc.com to express tributes.
