Betty Jean Nobles MACON – Betty Jean Markel Nobles, 81, of Wimbish Rd., passed away Friday in Austell, GA Services will be held Friday October 16, 2020 at 3:00 PM in Reece Funeral Home, Pastor Tommy Freeman will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 3:00PM before the service. Mrs. Nobles was born in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of the late George Washington Markel and Lura Mae Oliver Markel. She was the widow of the late Joseph Eli “Joe” Nobles, and was preceded in death by her son Michael Nobles. She was a former Truck Driver and was a Past Worthy Matron in the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her daughter, Jeanie A. Nobles Smith, and her son, G. Russell (Donna) Nobles. Grandchildren, Justin R. (Beth) Nobles, and Jessica (Kyle) Van Sickle. Great Grandchildren, Ayden Warren, Sawyer Smith, Elijah Nobles, Haden Nobles, Kaidyn Van Sickle, and Emberly Warren.
