JEFFERSONVILLE – Elaine Barron Allgood, 83, of Allgood Rd. passed away December 6, 2024 in Dublin.

Graveside services will be held Monday December 9, 2024 at 2:00PM at New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Gary Walker, Harold Reece, Jr., and Rev. Steve Hamrick will officiate.

Mrs. Allgood was born in Jeffersonville, GA the daughter of the late Wilson Barron and Doris Little Barron. She was the widow of the late Lewis Dean Allgood and was preceded in death by her son Jody Allgood and her daughter Susan A. Baggarly. Elaine was the former owner, along with her husband Dean, of Gordon (Ford) Motor Co., Allgood Memorial Chapel Funeral Home and Allgood Auto & Truck Parts. She was a member of New Providence Baptist Church.

Survivors include her brother Gerald (Julie) Barron. Two grandchildren, Celeste Orr and Jodi “Dee” Brynteson. Six great grandchildren.
