JEFFERSONVILLE – Everett Lawton Hamrick, 91 of Main St., passed away Sunday in Cochran. Services will be held Wednesday December 20, 2017 at 1100AM in Reece Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Jeffersonville City Cemetery. Rev. Todd Bishop and Rev. Bob Powell will officiate. Mr. Hamrick was born in Macon, GA the son of the late Claude F. and Monte Cranford Hamrick. He was the widower of the late Corine Dixon Hamrick. Mr. Everett was a retired Foreman with Cherokee Brick and Tile. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving as a medium tank operator in World War II. He was a member of Jeffersonville United Methodist Church. Survivors include his Daughter, Dianne (Larry) Barlow, and Son, Lawton (Julie) Hamrick. Grandchildren, Tammy (Dusty) Yearty, Amanda (Ty) Herrington, Christopher (Kellie) Hamrick, Tyler Hamrick, and Tessa Hamrick. Great Grandchildren, D.J. Yearty, Bo Yearty, Cohen Herrington, Annaclaire Herrington, and Paisley Hamrick. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Tuesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Serenity Hospice of Warner Robins at, 1057 North Houston Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31093 Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville has charge of arrangements.
