Leroy “Skip” Norman Disbennett, Jr. DANVILLE. GA – Leroy “Skip” Norman Disbennett, Jr., 73, of Howell Rd., went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday August 16, 2021, in Dublin. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 21, 2021 at 11:00AM at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Nobles Family Cemetery. Rev. Dwayne Bedingfield, Hunter Bedingfield and Rev. Tim Nobles will officiate. Skip was born in Galesburg, Illinois, the son of the late Leroy and Dorothy Hubbard Disbennett. He was preceded in death by his Step Mother Phyllis Disbennett. Skip served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He traveled all over the world and retired from Hewlett Packard Company and then went on to work for Maxgen Solar Company for several years. He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Danville, Ga, and he truly loved the Lord. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Sandra N. Disbennett. His children, Scott (Kendra) Disbennett, Amy (Russ) Sirmans, and Alana (Michael) Mullins. His Sister, Sue (Garry) Seehawer. Brothers Pete (Kathy) Disbennett, and Rob (Carol) Disbennett. Three Grandchildren and numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am Saturday before the service in the church.
