MILLEDGEVILLE – Lewis Alvin Smith, Jr., 90, formerly of Danville, GA passed away Monday in Milledgeville.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday January 29, 2025 at 3:00PM in Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Harold Reece, Jr. will officiate.

Mr. Smith was born in Danville, GA the son of the late Louis A. Smith and Beatrice Rozier Smith. Lewis was retired Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base and was a retired Farmer. He attended Lucy Chapel Church.

Survivors include his wife Melanie Powell Smith. His daughter Louise Smith Chapman. Sons, Randy Hall and Chris Hall. Grandchildren, Joey Chapman and Liz Hall.

The family will receive friends from 2:00PM to 2:45PM Wednesday in the funeral home before graveside services.
