MACON – Linda Ann Land Gabany, 76, of Horseshoe Circle, passed away Tuesday at her residence.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Friday December 29, 2023 at Stone Creek Baptist Church. Services will be held Saturday December 30, 2023 at 3:00PM at Stone Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Danny Singletary and Dr. Richard McNair will officiate.

Mrs. Gabany was born in Atlanta, GA the daughter of the late Jessie James Land and Mattie Bell Kuykendall Land. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Harry Land and James Land. She met her husband Edward in Atlanta, GA and became a military wife, making numerous moves as a Navy Wife. She moved to Macon, GA where she enjoyed living near her children. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, doing arts and crafts, and took after her Momma with a love for Hummingbirds. She also loved sewing and collecting anything Betty Boop. Linda lived a life serving and taking care of others. She served in the Homeless Ministry and took care of many special people in their last moments. She will be missed dearly by many and holds a special place in many hearts.

Survivors include her husband Edward Gabany. Sons, Thomas Gabany, Edward Gabany, and John Gabany. Daughters, Tracey Rhey, Trisha Acosta, and Tara Jarrell. Brother, Rex Land. Eighteen Grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren.
