WARNER ROBINS – Bertha Mae Moore Whisinand, 91, passed away Saturday in Perry.


Graveside services will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 at 11:00am at Elsharath Baptist Church Cemetery.  Dr. Bob Dilks  will officiate.


Mrs. Whisinand, was born in Twiggs County, GA, the daughter of the late John Patrick Moore, Sr. and Erlene Padgett Moore. She was the widow of the late Bernard Russell “Bud” Whisinand, and was preceded in death by her daughter Carolyn Stallings, her sons Paul Whisinand and Bernard Whisinand, her siblings Earl Moore, John Patrick Moore, Jr., Opal Sekelsky, Welton Moore, Murriel Meadows, and Edith Smith. Mrs. Bertha was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church.


Survivors include her son, Danny Whisinand. Sister, Hazel Mullis. Grandchildren, Phil (Tonya) Lucas, Chris Lucas, and Katie Stallings Mullis. Great Grandchildren, Brandon (Liberti) Lucas, Brittnie (Travis) Hanson, and Brenna Lucas. Great Great Grandchildren, Hunter, Emmett, Ruger, and Kimber. Numerous nieces and nephews.
