Betty Thompson Cherry DUBLIN – Betty Thompson Cherry, 85, of Coleman Lane, passed away March 8, 2022 in Dublin. Services will be held 11:00 am Friday March 11, 2022 in the chapel of Reece Funeral Home. Burial will be in Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Cherry was born in Jeffersonville, GA , the daughter of the late George “Mauk” Thompson and Mabel Sauls Thompson. She was the widow of the late Charles Beverly Cherry and was preceded in death by her siblings, George Thompson, Jr., Bobby Thompson, Billy Thompson, Evelyn T. Land, and Peggy Holladay. Survivors include her children, Brenda Lynn, and Rodney (Connie) Lynn. Grandchildren, Kenny Lynn and Allen (Jennifer) Lynn; great grandchild Zoey Lynn. Brothers, Larry Joe Thompson, and Johnny (Tina) Thompson. Sister, Carolyn (Frankie) Allen. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.
