Charles Leon Kitchens, Sr.

DRY BRANCH – Charles Leon Kitchens, Sr., 77 of Gailu Dr., passed away Wednesday at his residence. Services will be held Saturday June 2, 2018, at 1100AM, in Antioch Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Bill Linder and Rev. Marty Watson will officiate. Mr. Kitchens was born in Twiggs County, GA the son of the late Hardie Lee and Elizabeth Butler Kitchens. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Delbert Kitchens, and Martha K. Kane. Charles was a former employee of Big Apple Food Stores, Georgia Kaolin, Dry Branch Kaolin and Imerys Kaolin. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Patricia T. Kitchens. Children, Jerry Glenn (Debbie) Lee, Jackie D. Lee, Charles Leon (Lisa) Kitchens, Jr., and Patrick Shane Kitchens. Grandchildren, Jessica (David) Ogles, Jack Lee, Charles Colby Kitchens, Michael Kyle Kitchens, and Kennedy Ann Kitchens. Sisters, Pat Jobin and Faye (Johnny) Brown. The family will receive friends from 600PM to 800PM Friday in the funeral home Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville has charge of arrangements.
