She volunteered often as a vacation bible school and Sunday school teacher at Blythe Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and cruising, and especially loved music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s decades. One of her favorite pastimes was visiting the St. Simons Island Antique Show.
