GORDON – Doris Hamm Gilder, 91, of Fountain Rd. passed away Saturday in Macon.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday February 18, 2025 at 2:00PM in Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Dwayne Bedingfield will officiate.

Mrs. Gilder was born in Danville, GA the daughter of the late William H. Hamm and Lottie Thompson Hamm. She was preceded in death by her sons, Walter Rivers Self and Charles Self. By her Brothers, William Hamm, Jr., Henry Newton Ham, and Harvey Hamm. Doris was a Homemaker who truly loved her family. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Raymond Gilder. Step-Son, Tommy Gilder, Sister, Elizabeth Honeycutt. Grandchildren Roy (Savannah Cook) Self, Steven (Miranda Keller) Self, Great Grandchildren, Wesson Cook and Bailey Self, and many more grandchildren and great grandchildren. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
