Edgar C. “Jack” Holliday JEFFERSONVILLE – Edgar Channell “Jack” Holliday, 91, passed away Friday August 26, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. A visitation will be held Wednesday August 31, 2022 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Reece Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 17661 US Hwy 80 at a later date. Jack was born in Jeffersonville, GA to the late Theodore D. “Theo” Holliday Sr and Laura Edna Sangster Holliday. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 71 years Joann Gresham Holliday, three sons Joseph Neil Holliday, Edgar Chan Holliday, and Danny Ross Holliday, sisters Elizabeth Holliday Harrell, Audrey Sue Holliday and Laura Bayne Holliday Wood, brother Theodore D. Theo Holliday, Jr. and great grandson Mick Miskiman. Jack was retired from Robins Air Force Base and was Army veteran. He was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church and Beech Springs Methodist Church and attended Great Faith Ministries Church. Jack loved fishing, yard work, animals and his family and friends. Survivors include his son Bailey Gresham (Lisa) Holliday; daughters, Pamela (Mark) Hasty, Deborah Holliday and her companion Jeffery Anderson; brother, Donald (Carol) Holliday; grandchildren, Ashley (James) Tyler, Joshua Bailey Holliday, Marie (Sean) Williams, Melody Hasty Layman, Megan Hasty, Sheryl (Kip) Rice; great grandchildren Tyler, Hailey, Erica, Claire, Sean, Kylie, Cheyene, Timmy, Sierra, Kylar, Tasha, and Marco; great great grandchildren, Kanadi, Da’Mere, De’Angel, Demi-Ann, Leyton, Cory, Aiden, Nalani, Milan, Allie and Raelyn; and his fur baby, Little Bit.
