Grady E. Cannon

MACON, GA – Mr. Grady E. Cannon passed away March 22, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Monday March 26, 2018 in Antioch Baptist Church in Dry Branch, Ga. The family will receive friends from 11AM till 1PM in the church prior to the funeral. His brother Rev. James Cannon will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Cannon was born in Macon to the late Benjamin Robert Cannon and Mary Frances Jarrell Cannon. He was preceded in death by his wife Sherrel Hutto Cannon. Mr. Cannon was a retired Pipefitter. Grady loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a member of the Red Bottom River Club. He is survived by his two daughters, Lisa (Andy) Wood of Twiggs County and Margie L. Cross of Jones County; brothers, Robert (Diane) Bentley of Twiggs County, James (Donna) Cannon of Twiggs County and Benny (Mary) Cannon of Jones County; sisters, Darlene (David) Cooper of Twiggs County, Wendy (Scott) Stark of Jones County, and Patricia Hattaway of Bibb County; grandchildren, Danielle Dozier, Harley Cross, and Michael Bubba Cross; 5 Great Grandchildren also survive. Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville has charge of arrangements.
