J.B. Cannon JEFFERSONVILLE – J.B. Cannon, 88, of Hwy 18, passed away Thursday in Macon. Services will be held Monday August 2, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Reece Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Hamrick will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Plains Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Cannon was born in Danville, GA / Wilkinson County, the son of the late Nathan and Eva Stuckey Cannon. He was the widow of the late Wanda Mae Wilson Cannon, and was preceded in death by his brother Willis Cannon and sister Eloise Sutton. J.B. was a former Saw Operator at area Lumber Mills. He loved his family and enjoyed helping people in his community. Survivors include his step children, Russell Smalley, Wayne Smalley. Gerald Carver, Terry Smalley, Marsha Mathews, Glenda Little, Patricia (Rusty) Brown, and Beverly Spearman. Many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. His Niece, Marsha Coleman, and his Nephews, Steve (Jean) Cannon, Paul (Julia) Cannon, and David (Rose) Cannon. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Sunday in the funeral home.
