Joel Tolbert “J.T.” Ethridge

MACON – Joel T. “J.T.” Ethridge, 84, passed away Sunday in Macon.

Graveside services will be held Friday September 9, 2022, at 2:00PM in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 7070 Houston Rd. Macon, GA 31216. Pastor Bo Turner will officiate.

Mr. Ethridge was born in Twiggs County to the late Loyd Ethridge and Mary Frances Kizer Ethridge. He was also preceded in death by two grandchildren Chad Young and Kelly Foster. Mr. Ethridge was also retired from Nord Kaolin as a Lab Technician.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Carol Ethridge; Daughters, Debi Sellers, Beverly Smith, and Tammie (Mark) Foster; son, Gary Ethridge; brother, Loyd Ethridge, Jr.; sisters, Joyce Reagan, Mary Spivey, Linda Kell, and Sheila Duncan; grandchildren, Cole McMillan, Nathan Smith, Stephanie Smith, Kane Foster, and Adam Foster; 14 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the cemetery.
