MACON – Nancy Alice Taylor Cannon, 82, of Phillips Drive Rd., passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday August 27, 2024 at her residence.
Services will be held Friday August 30, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Reece Funeral Home. Burial will be in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Bo Turner will officiate.
Mrs. Cannon was born in Eastman, GA the daughter of the late Rev. Joseph Taylor and Rev. Lorene Evans Taylor Smith. She was the widow of the late Ronnie Cannon and was preceded in death by her Step-Father William E. Smith, Her sons, Earl Tidwell, Joey Tidwell, Pete Cannon. Her daughter Janice Bloodworth, Son-in-law Donny Williamson. Her Grandson Ricky Tidwell, Jr. Her Great Granddaughter Kaylee Tidwell and her sister Martha Burney Blair. Nancy was a former Waitress with Cox Seafood and was a member of First Congregational Holiness Church.
Survivors include her Sons, Ricky (Pam) Tidwell, David Tidwell, and Wade Stephens. Her Daughters, Barbara Williamson and Jeannie Cannon. Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:00PM to 3:00PM Friday before service in the funeral home.
