Sharon J. Herndon MACON – Sharon Johnson Herndon, 62, of Old Gordon Rd., passed away Thursday in Macon. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Sunday August 12, 2018 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM in Reece Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday August 18, 2018 at 3:00PM at the residence, at 9186 Old Gordon Rd., Macon, GA 31217. Mrs. Herndon, was born in Thomaston, GA, the daughter of the late Allen and Ruth Roberts Johnson. She was a former Manager with Flash Foods, and was a member of Good Hope Pentecostal Church. Survivors include her Husband, Omar Eugene Herndon, Jr.. Daughter, Tiffany (Charles) Smith. Grandchildren, Christian Lavender, Kristianna Lavender, and Tristany Lavender. Sister, Mary “Doll Baby” (Herman) Nicholson. Brothers, Larry (Diane) Johnson, Rex (Barbara) Johnson, and Kenneth (Dianna) Johnson. Several Nieces and Nephews.
