William A. Fowler DANVILLE – William Arthur “Little Bud” Fowler, 77, of Carden Rd., passed away Monday January 17, 2022 at his home. Graveside services will be held 11 am Thursday January 20, 2022 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Elder Franklin Bryant will be officiating. Mr. Fowler was born in Twiggs County to the late William Isaac Fowler and Mary Ellen Floyd Fowler. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Evelyene Allen Fowler, three siblings, Annie Mae, Joe and Norman Harold. As a husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather he blessed the lives of many with his deep love of family. Having retired with 47 years in the propane industry, he served his community as if they were his extended family. As well as being dedicated to his customer based family, he enjoyed working on the land, from raising livestock to growing and harvesting multiple crops. He was also dependable and willing to help anyone who was in need. With his simple love for the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing and traveling back roads to see the small things that most would overlook. Survivors include his daughter, Linda Howell; son, Billy J. (Cathie) Fowler, granddaughters, DeAnna (Kenneth) Williams, Katie Howell and family; brother, Frank (Linda) Fowler, and numerous extended family. The family will receive friends before the service from 10-11am in the cemetery. Visit www.reecefuneralhomeinc.com to express tributes.
