BULLARD - Alton Vestal White, III 70, of Bullard Rd., passed away Friday in Macon.

Services will be held Monday, May 29, 2023 at 2:00PM at New Richland Baptist Church. Dr. Steve Smith, Dr. Rick Lanford, and Rev. Ken Land will officiate.

Mr. White was born in Macon the son of the late Alton V. White, Jr. and Rosaline Denson White. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Audrey Lane White. He was a 1970 Graduate of Twiggs County High School. Alton was the owner of Whiteway Plantation, and was a Board Member and Supervisor with the Soil and Water Conservation. He was a member of New Richland Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Mr. White was active in the Richland Restoration League and Old Richland Baptist Church. He was a Farmer and a Tree Farmer. Alton loved traveling and the outdoors and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Howell White. Sons, Alton “Al” (Brandi) White IV, and Paul (Amy) White. Daughter, Lesley (Jaye) Brown. Grandchildren, Raigan (Ryan) Cheek, Emmi (Bailee) Kight, Gavin White, Jackson White, Lylah Brown, Luke Brown, and Lainey Brown. Great Grandchildren, Andi Rai Cheek and Maddox Kight “On the way”. His Sister, Rose Lane (Chuck) Leavell. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Sunday in the funeral home.
