Annie Muriel H. Jackson
DANVILLE - Annie Muriel Hogan Jackson, 83, of Fifth St. passed away Thursday December 4, 2025 in Macon.
Funeral services will be held Monday December 8, 2025 at 3:00PM at Elsharath Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Ronnie Long, Rev. Jeff Alligood, and Bro. Pete Alley will officiate.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Twiggs County, GA the daughter of the late Myrtle Hogan Alley. She was the widow of the late Arthur Jackson and was preceded in death by her son Richard Timothy Jackson, and her brothers Jeff Long and Ray Long. Annie Muriel was a 1961 Graduate of Twiggs County High School with the honor of being the class Salutatorian, the Beta Club, the Drama Club, Class Secretary and FHA. She was a member of Elsharath Baptist Church
“Miss” Ann was the owner of The Chicken Place in Allentown for over 39 years where she was recognized by Southern Living Magazine for her delicious food and service.
Survivors include her children, Tracy (Joy) Jackson, Glenda Jackson, and Sue (James) Jackson. Her brother Pete (Kim) Alley. Her sister Margie (George) Bowen. Her sister in law Jean Jackson. Eight Grandchildren, Ten Great Grandchildren, and Two Great Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Sunday in the funeral home.
