JEFFERSONVILLE – Audrey Elaine “Sissy” Mercer Stone, 78, of Hwy 96 passed away Friday December 20, 2024 in Macon.

Services will be held Sunday December 22, 2024 at 3:00PM at the Jeffersonville Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Jeffersonville City Cemetery. Rev. Bob Powell and Rev. Gary Walker will officiate.

Mrs. Stone was born in Macon, GA the daughter of the late Thomas Henry Mercer and Mary Shostarich Mercer. “Sissy” was a Homemaker. She served for many years on the board of trustees of the Jeffersonville City Cemetery and was a member of the Jeffersonville Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Doyle Stone, Jr. Her sons, Tom (Tammy) Stone and Greg (Kristi) Stone. Her grandchildren Madison, Matthew, Corinne, Braydon, Hayden, Anna Grace, Chanlee (Josh), and Jared. Her Great Grandchildren, Colton and Fynlee. Her brother Joe (Mary Ellen) Mercer.

The family will receive friends after the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Stone, Jared Smith, Josh Savant, Marc Mercer, Eric Nobles, and Gary Stone.
