Betty Rose B. Ashley
MACON – Betty Rose Bloodworth Cloud Ashley, 79, of Henderson Rd., passed away Friday in Macon.
Services will be held Monday September 29, 2025 at 2:00PM at Bridges Of Hope And Restoration Church. Burial will be at Baptist Gospel Mission Church. Rev. Loretta Faulk, Rev. Georgia Bridgers and Shirley Peacock will officiate.
Mrs. Ashley was born in Gordon, GA, the daughter of the late Caris Bloodworth and Ethel Wood Bloodworth. She was preceded in death by her sons, Craig Cloud, Kenny Cloud, and Jimmy Ray Cloud. By her sisters; Carolyn Jackson, Marie Willis, Effie Kate Copeland, and Joann McCleskey, and by her brother: Jimmy Bloodworth. Betty was a homemaker, an Evangelist, and a member of Bridges of Hope and Restoration Church. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother.
Survivors include her husband John Ashley. Her daughter, Betty Renee DuPree, and Her son, John Thomas Ashley. Her brother, Rev. W.C. “Bubba” Bloodworth. Her grandchildren, Casey Walters, Johnathan Cloud, Kyle DuPree, Jennifer DuPree, Makaleigh Ashley, Jadon Ashley, Jasper Ashley, Easton Ashley, Britney Cloud, Craig Cloud, and David Sorrow. Several great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:00PM before services in the church.
