In Loving Memory of Betty Louise Bass

GRAY, GA - Betty Louise Bass, born on April 17, 1943, in Macon, GA, passed away peacefully at her residence on October 4, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Betty is survived by her devoted husband, Jack Bass, her children Billy (Suzanne) Taylor, Penny Rogers, Beverly (Billy) Savage, Cindy (Gabby) Loyd, nine cherished grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Betty was a dedicated member of New Haven Baptist Church and the proud owner of Betty's Flowers & Crafts for many years. Her specialty was enriching the lives of her customers by crafting beautiful bows, gracing countless homes and businesses throughout Middle Georgia, including the tables at S&S Cafeterias for several years.

The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to Brightmoor Hospice for their unwavering dedication during this difficult time. Betty was a vibrant soul, enriched by her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. She radiated joy and kindness, always finding delight in life's simple pleasures. Betty was known for her laughter, sense of humor, quick wit, and a love for dancing and life. Her great-grandson Jaxson lovingly dubbed her "the most beautiful woman in the world."

Please join us in celebrating Betty's remarkable life on Sunday at New Haven Baptist Church, where visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m., followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be her loving son-in-law, Gabby Loyd, Sam Loyd, and Dusty Elliott.
