DANVILLE – Bill Jones. 80, of Second St. passed away Thursday in Macon.


Services will be held Sunday August 11, 2024 at 2:00PM at Reece Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Price-Jones Family Cemetery in Danville. Rev. Danny Singletary will officiate.


Mr. Jones was born in Dahlonega, GA the son of the late James Freeman Jones and Willie Mae Springfield Jones. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Bob Jones, Euli Jones, J.D. Jones, Joe Jones, John Jones, Walter Jones, Nell McDougland, Julie Faye Hollaway, Jessie Walls, and Sunny Mauldin. He was a retired Truck Driver and Logger. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.


Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Margaret Price Jones. Son Shawn Jones. Brother Ronnie Jones. Sister Marie Broome. Many nieces and nephews and special friends.


The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Saturday in the funeral home.
