Carl Donald “Donny” Williamson MACON – Carl Donald “Donny” Williamson, 68, of Hoyal Lane, passed away Friday at his residence. Services will be held Wednesday April 6, 2022 at 2pm in the chapel of Reece Funeral Home. Rev. Rebecca Mathis will be officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Twiggs County Mr. Williamson was born in Chattanooga TN to the late Carl Jackson Williamson and Annie Ruth Lamberth Williamson. He was a tree surgeon for Tidwell’s Tree Service and was a member of The First Congregational Holiness Church. Mr. Williamson is preceded in death by three brother in laws, Joey Tidwell, Earl Tidwell and John McCalister. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Tidwell Williamson; sons, Carl Williamson of Macon and Ricky Jackson of Warner Robins; daughters, Jennifer (Zack) Haley of Macon, Nancy Jackson of Warner Robins, Megan Mock of Macon and Hailey Dalton of Macon; Brother-n-laws, Ricky (Pam) Tidwell, David Tidwell and Wade Stephens; sisters, Jackie (Jim) Smith of Blairsville, GA and Rita McCalister of White, GA; mother in law Nancy Cannon; 31 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild also survive; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews including Butterbean. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm before the service at the funeral home.
