Cathy Loyd Coussons

DANVILLE Cathy Loyd Coussons, 62, of Stuckey Rd., passed away at her home November 25, 2017 after a long struggle with sarcoidosis, a crippling lung disease. Graveside services will be held Monday November 27, 2017 at 1100AM in Pleasant Plains Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Chris Scott will officiate. Mrs. Coussons was born in Milledgeville, the daughter of the late Alton L. (Bo) Loyd and Dorothy Grinstead Loyd. She was preceded in death by her son Adam Christopher Coussons. Cathy was a life long resident of Wilkinson County and was the Bookkeeper for Loyd Oil Company. She was a member of Big Sandy Baptist Church. Survivors include her Husband of 45 years, Tommy Coussons. Her Son, Brad (Renee) Coussons. Grandson Logan Coussons, and Sister Carol Ann (Truitt) Payne. Step Mother Annie M. Loyd. Nephew Andrew Toler, and great Nephew Jared Toler The family will receive friends after the graveside service in the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Serenity Hospice in memory of Cathy at, 520 Hillcrest Pkwy 1202C, Dublin, GA 31021. Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville has charge of arrangements.
