Charles David Maddox MACON – Charles David Maddox, 80, of Fox Rd., passed away February 18, 2021 at his residence. Services will be held at 1:00PM Thursday February 25, 2021 at Reece Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Maddox was born in Fitzgerald, GA, the son of the late Ollie and Clifford Melvana McNair Maddox. He was the widow of the late Charlotte Ann Maddox, and was preceded in death by his daughter, Bonnie Lynn Brickle, Brother, Ollie Issac Maddox, and Sisters, Mary Corene Hearn and Norma Josephine Scarborough. Mr. Maddox was a strong supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Georgia Sheriff’s Association. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his Children, David Dean (Patricia) Maddox, and Richard Wayne Maddox. Sister, Hazel Juanita Hearn, Sister in law, Rachel Juanita Howell, and Brother in law, Jerrell Wright Howell. Grandchildren, Kandice brooke Crews, Jonathan Ryan Brickle, Kasey Dawn Hatton, Kayla Nicole Maddox, Jacob Alan Maddox, Joshua David Maddox, and Caleb Taylor Maddox. Great Grandchildren, Landon Gage Crews, Tylyanna Marie Hatton, Kynslea Jade Hatton, and Brooklyn Mae Hatton.
