COLUMBUS, GA - Christen Martin Killingsworth passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2025, at her home in Columbus, Georgia at the age of 43.


Christen was born February 14, 1982, and grew up in Talbotton, Georgia. She spent her adult life in Columbus. She was the eldest child of Laura Hall Martin and Jeffrey R. Martin, both of whom preceded her in death.


Christen is survived by her husband, Wesley Killingsworth, her son Caleb Killingsworth, both of Columbus, Georgia, and her brother Steven R. Martin of Dry Branch, Georgia. She is also survived by a stepsister, Azure Avery, of Denver, Colorado plus first cousins and uncles.


Christen’s cremains will be interred in the Wimberly Cemetery on Main Street in Jeffersonville, Georgia. The Reece Funeral Home of Jeffersonville is handling the arrangements.


A service will be held at the cemetery at 11:00 am on Monday, June 16, 2025, to remember Christen and celebrate her contributions to our lives. All those wishing to remember Christen in a special way are encouraged to make a donation in her memory to your favorite charity.
