DANVILLE, GA – Cynthia Ann Sanders Lee, 72, of Sanders-Whitaker Rd., passed away Friday June 5, 2026 in Macon.

A Private Celebration of Cynthia’s Life with her family, will be held Tuesday June 9, 2026 at Reece Funeral Home at 2:00PM. Harold Reece, Jr. will officiate.

Cynthia was born in Macon, GA, the daughter of the late Hoyt Morgan Sanders, Jr., and Edith Gretchen “Tency” Carden Sanders, and was a lifelong resident of Twiggs County. She was preceded in death by her nephews Alan Faulk and Bob Rickerson. Cynthia was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis Lee. Her daughters, Jennifer (MacKennen) Collins, and Jessica Lee. Her brother, Hoyt Morgan (Theresa) Sanders, III. Her sister, Barbara Jewel “Sis” (Rabun) Faulk. Her three granddaughters, Ava Collins, Riley Collins, and Emma Collins. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Cynthia.
