David Wayne Little, Sr.

COCHRAN – David Wayne Little, Sr., 77, of Sheffield-Bradbury Rd. passed away April 7, 2023 at his residence.

Services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday April 13, 2023 at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA.

Mr. Little was born in Macon, GA, the son of Woodrow “Shottie” Little and Ruth Sheffield Little. He was the widower of the late Linda Lou Wood Little and was preceded in death by his son David Wayne Little, Jr. and his brother Woodrow Little. David was a retired heavy equipment operator with Nord/Imerys Kaolin. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his children, Teresa Hodge, Lisa (David) Lord, and Jimmy (Teresa) Lumley. Sisters, Gail (Billy) Belote, Shelia (Bill) Watson, and LouAnn Goodman. Brothers, Willie Harrell (Sandra) Little, and Hank Little. Eleven Grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday in the funeral home
