GORDON – Dorothy L. Davis, 94, of Ryle Rd., passed away Monday at her residence.

Graveside services will be held Friday April 14 at 3:00PM in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Davis was born in Brasstown, NC, the daughter of the late Floyd and Girtie Hartness Laney. She was preceded in death by her Sons, Adam Edward Lossiah, Alvin Lewis Lossiah, Kenneth Virgil Davis, and Leonard Gregory Davis; Her Daughter Loretta Joyce Smith;  her brothers Jake Laney, James Laney, Luke Laney, and John Laney; her sisters Georgie Tweed, Lois Williamson and Judy Kilby. Mrs Dorothy was a former CNA and attended Houston Road Christian Church.

Survivors include her children, Alice (Dan) Ryle, Henrietta “Fronnie” (William) Nelson, Sue (Steve) Cramer, and Marshall Harold (Gail) Davis. Her Sister Margaret Tweed, and her brother Taft Laney. Seventeen Grandchildren, Twenty Five Great Grandchildren and Four Great Great Grandchildren.
