Dorothy Y. Lake MACON – Dorothy Yeomans Lake, 81, of Davis Rd., passed away Saturday in Macon. Services will be held Tuesday July 12, 2022 at 1:00PM at Reece Funeral Home. Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Marty Watson will officiate. Mrs. Lake was born in Orlando, Florida, the daughter of the late William Leonard Yeomans and Sally Ruth Watson Yeomans. She was the widow of the late Carlton Taft Lake, and was preceded in death by her brother Julian Yeomans, and sisters, Annie Ruth Chapman and Geraldine Jones. Dorothy was a retired Social Worker with the Department of Family and Children Services. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family and was loved by all. Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Gallegly and Eileen Cowher. Her brother, Wayne Yeomans. Her sisters, Lena Walden and Wanda Marchant. Her grandchildren, Travis (Angel) Lowie, Joseph Cowher and Amber Gallegly. Her great grandchildren, Josh and Katelynn.
