Jeffersonville , GA – Douglas Lamar "Doug" Gleason, 85, of Allgood Road, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in Dublin, Georgia.

A service celebrating Doug's life will be held at a later date. He will be laid to rest at Dublin Memorial Gardens.

Doug was born in Houma, Louisiana, to the late Garland Gleason and Carolyn Lunsford Gleason. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Paul Kelly and his brother, Donnie Gleason.

Doug was a longtime member of the National Rifle Association, a dedicated Mason for more than fifty years, and a faithful member of the Methodist church.

He is survived by his daughters, Dara (Larry) Kelly and Dene (Scott) Marcello, and his seven grandchildren: LJ Kelly, Laura Marcello, Michael Marcello, Joshua Kelly, Jason Marcello and Andrew (Makayla) Marcello.
