JEFFERSONVILLE – Douglas Henry “Doug” Jones, 74 of Main St. passed away Saturday August 3, 2024 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday November 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Jeffersonville City Cemetery. Harold Reece, Jr. will officiate.

Mr. Jones was born in Cordele, GA, the son of the late John Solomon Jones and Dorothy Mae Jackson Jones. He was the widow of the late Shirley Watson Jones and was preceded in death by his daughter Lauren his step daughter Stephanie, and his sister Diane. Doug was retired from Engelhard Kaolin. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving in Vietnam War.

Survivors include his grandchildren, Brian “T.J.” Burke, Brooke (Hunter) McCarthy, and Donald “Bubba” Warren. Sister, Joyce (John) Troutman. Several nieces and nephews and other family.
