Edith H. Pruitt JONES COUNTY- Edith Victoria Pruitt, commonly known as Weezy, went home to be with the Lord June 9, 2020. Graveside services will be held Thursday June 11 at 11am in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Dry Branch, GA. Rev. Charles Carter will be officiating. Mrs. Pruitt was born April 1, 1935 in Patrick County Virginia She married her loving husband Delmar Pruitt on December 21, 1955, where they became proud parents of four children. She enjoyed reading, watching NASCAR racing, working in the yard and was a dedicated volunteer. Mrs. Pruitt was a devout Christian and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Twiggs County. She is preceded in death by her parents Hampton and Anne Bell Hall, her husband Delmar Pruitt, son Delmar Pruitt, Jr., and sister, Mildred Robertson. Survivors include her children, Penny (Gene) Hane, Radonna (Jack) Edge, and Chalana Pruitt; four brother; five sisters; six grandchildren, Teri, Gene Jr., Justin, James, D.J., and Victoria; eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
