Jeffersonville, GA - Edna Land, 96, passed away December 24, 2022 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Friday December 30, 2022 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Reece Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ken Land will be officiating.

Mrs. Edna was born in Twiggs County to the late Tommy and Sally Neomia Lynn Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband Roland Land, Sr. and her sons, Roland “Junie” Land, Jr., Tommy Kendall “Kenny” Land, daughter in law Carolyn K. Land, brothers Tommy Thompson Sr., David Thompson and Henry Thompson, and sister Lois T. Nobles. Mrs. Edna was a Homemaker and a member of Prospect United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her two sons, Michael T. Land and Dennis Land (Tim); grandchildren, Kendra Mercer, Holly Stone, Ken Land, Michelle Silva, Kimbo Mullis, Dallas Land and Darrell Land; great grandchildren, Nathan Mercer, Grace Mercer, William Dennard, Piper Mullis, Maddy Cate Land, Anna Bell Land, Ella Rose Land, Jacob Silva, Katherine Silva, Foggy Maddison, Julianna Land, Kaytria Land, Andrew Land, Olivia Land, Carina Land, and Ian Land.

The family will receive friends from 10-11am before the service at the funeral home.
