Edward D. Davis, Sr.

MACON Edward Daniel Davis, Sr., 71, of Hickory Court, passed away Saturday in Macon. Services will be held Tuesday December 5, 2017 at 200PM in Friendship Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Charles Carter will officiate. Mr. Davis was born in Macon, GA the son of the late James W. and Eula Mae Renfroe Davis. He was preceded in death by his brother J.W. Davis. Edward was a Painter and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Lynda B. Davis. Children, Pam (Scott) Croom, Connie (Jeff) Tyler, Dennis (Emily) Blizzard, and Edward (Sonya) Davis, Jr. Grandchildrem, April Mimbs, Blake (Kristie) Dixon, Sam Stringer, Heather (Juan) Howell, Chase Tyler, Brittany Davis, Trevor Davis, Danielle Jones, Jordan Jones and Bret Jones. Nine Great Grandchildren. Siblings, Betty Jean (Billy) Cooper, Larry (Patsy) Davis, Wilbur (Linda) Davis, Talmadge Davis, George Davis, Deborah (Thomas) Massengale, and Essie (David) Ferraro The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 Tuesday before services in the church. Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville has charge of arrangements.
