Eli Jackson “E.J.” Nobles
DANVILLE – Eli Jackson “E.J.” Nobles, 66, passed away Sunday January 5, 2025 in Cochran.
Services will be held Wednesday January 8, 2025 at 2:00PM in Reece Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Harold Reece, Jr. will officiate.
Mr. Nobles was born in Dublin, GA the son of the late Roland Alton Nobles and Annie Louise Thomas Nobles. The was the widower of the late Lisa Jean Tarpley Nobles and was preceded in death by his siblings, Leonard Nobles, Faye Harrison, Joyce Rogers, Betty Rickerson and Tommy Nobles. Brother in Laws, Jimmy “Skeet” Tarpley, Charlie Long, and Lamar “Pig” Harrison. Sister in Law Carolyn Nobles. “E.J.” was retired from Lithonia Lighting in Cochran and was a member of the Danville Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughters, Candice Gray and Brandy (Phillip) Bloodworth. Brother Luther Nobles. Sister Helen Lister. Brother in Laws, Walter “Sonny” Rickerson, Danny (Lisa) Long, and “Junior” Rogers. Sister in Law Sandra “Jo” Sullivan and Brother in Law Calvin Sullivan. Grandchildren, Savannah Gray and Annie Jean “A.J.” Gray. His Girlfriend Lisa Mickler, and Several Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Tuesday in the funeral home.
