Ann Brooks DRY BRANCH – Elizabeth Ann Loyd Brooks, 76, of Kaolin Heights Rd., passed away Wednesday in Macon. Services will be held Saturday November 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Stone Creek Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Sam Loyd and Rev. Samuel “Gabby” Loyd will officiate. Mrs. Brooks was born in Dublin, GA, the daughter of the late Samuel and Irene Boulin Loyd. She was preceded in death by her Granddaughter Courtney Watson, and by her siblings, Margaret Tucker, Doris Yaungh, Doris Robinson, Jack Loyd, Doug Loyd, Chester Loyd, and her twin Jan Whitley. Ann was a homemaker and a member of Stone Creek Baptist Church where she organized the annual Operation Christmas Child/Christmas Shoe Box Ministry. She loved her Family, Church, Music, but most especially her “Grandbabies”. Survivors include her husband of over 52 years, Steve Brooks. Daughters, Tracy (Darrell) Smith, and Cathy (Lane) Sewell. Grandkids, Austin Sewell, Alan Sewell, Wesley Watson, and Linsey Watson. Sister, Polly Gillilan and Brother, Rev. Samuel “Gabby” (Cindy) Loyd. Several Nieces and Nephews.
