Frances I. “Fran” Stripling

MACON – Frances Elizabeth “Fran” Ivey Stripling, 78, of Key Rd., passed away Friday September 13, 2024 at her residence.

Services will be held Thursday September 19, 2024 at 3:00PM at Friendship Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Charles Carter will officiate.

Mrs. Stripling was born in Lumberton, NC the daughter of the late Alfred Ira Ivey and Myrtle Arnette Ivey. She was preceded in death by her Step-Father Leroy Birgman, her infant son John R. “Josh” Grimsley, Jr. and her sister Brenda Monroe. “Fran” was a former Restaurant Manager and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Frederick Eugene “Fred” Stripling. Her children, Oscar LeRoy Grimsley, Joseph Aaron Grimsley, Frederick E. Stripling, Jr., Timothy Stewart Stripling, Donna Marie Back, Barbara Ann Burger, and Carol Denise Liberman. Her sister, Nancy Carol Sikes. Friend, Shirley Hardage. Seventeen Grandchildren and Thirteen Great Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2:00PM to 3:00PM Thursday before services in the church.
