Gary Nobles, Sr.
DANVILLE – Gary Nobles, Sr., 79 of Fowler Rd., passed away Sunday March 30, 2025 in Macon.
Services will be held Tuesday April 1, 2025 at 3:00PM at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Nobles Family Cemetery. Rev. Dwayne Bedingfield will officiate.
Mr. Nobles was born in Danville, GA the son of the late Kinchen Smith “Bubba” Nobles, Jr. and Lois Marie Thompson Nobles. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Johnnie P. Nobles, his brother Tommy Nobles and his son-in-law Kevin Williams. Gary was a retired Tool and Die Foreman with Blue Bird Body Company. He was a 1963 graduate of Twiggs County High School and attended Middle Georgia College. Gary was a founding member of the Twiggs County Jaycees and served 16 years as a Commissioner on the Twiggs County Board of Commission. He was an antique car enthusiast, outdoorsman, musician and artist. He attended Mount Zion Baptist Church. Gary was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, and he enjoyed spending time with all of them.
Survivors include his wife, Gay H. Nobles. Sons, Gary (Lisette) Nobles, Jr., and Tim (Sondra) Nobles. Daughter, Amy N. Williams. Stepson, Robbie (Marie) Allen. Grandchildren, Alex (Mary Catherine) Nobles, Evan (Adriene) Nobles, Ivie (Luis) Gonzalez, Owen Nobles, Elizabeth (Nick) Ward, Joshua Nobles, Hannah Nobles, Lydia Nobles, Aaron Nobles, Olivia (Austin) Hiner, Charlie (Sadie Bowling) Williams, Hunter (Leah) Allen, and Harris Allen. Great Grandchildren, Asher Nobles, Harper Nobles, and Everett Ward. Brothers, Don (Pam) Nobles, Scott Nobles, and Dean (Bunny) Nobles. Sisters, Jan N. Maklary, Sandra N. Disbennett, Melody N. (Buddy) NeSmith, and Dawn N. (Bert) Weaks. A host of Nieces and Nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 3:00PM Tuesday before services in the church.
