DANVILLE, GA - George Joe Quinn, 56, of Bell-Payne Rd., passed away Thursday July 9, 2026 at his residence.

Services will be held Sunday July 12, 2026 at 4:00PM at Reece Funeral Home. Janice Evans and Josh Wilson will officiate.

Mr. Quinn was born in Rockford, Illinois, the son of the late George Benjamin Quinn. Joe was an over the road truck driver for 21 years. He was a Tack truck driver for Everett Dykes Grassing, a mechanic for Collins Automotive, and laborer for RAD Contracting. His CB handle was “Ponieboy”. Joe was an avid fisherman, he loved hunting, the outdoors, and most of all spending time with his family. He loved building old cars, and watching Barrett Jackson. He enjoyed collecting antique guns and working on everything known to man.

Survivors include his mother, Nancy McDonald. His children, Josh (Amber) Wilson, Aaron (Emily) Quinn, Wyatt (Shelby) Bowen, Hope (Justin) Jaramillo, Colby Johnson, Micheal Schrader, Sadi Gagnon, Maranda Schrader, and Harlee Rae (Ivy) Johnson. His grandchildren, Wade, Graesyn, Atia, Ariana, Angelina, and Marcos. His brother, David (Darinda) Collins. Several nieces and nephews. His loyal companions, Apollo, Peanut, Smokey, Bailey, and Lucky the squirrel. He was proceeded in death by his fur baby Prince.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Saturday in the funeral home.
