JEFFERSONVILLE, GA – Glenn Leslie Barton, 71, of Prospect Church Rd. passed away Thursday July 10, 2025 at his residence.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Sunday July 13, 2025 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM in Prospect Church. All Family and Friends are invited to join in Celebrating Glenn’s life.

Mr. Barton was born in Perry, Florida, the son of the late Geraldine Odessa Gay Barton. He was preceded in death by his sister Glenda Barton, his brother Ross Barton and his granddaughter Charlotte Rose Barton. Glenn worked in Logistics for the U.S. Department of Defense at the Pentagon in Washington DC and was the Former County Administrator for Twiggs County, Georgia. He was a Christian and attended Prospect Church.

Survivors include his wife Jeralyn Barton. Sons, David Barton, Christopher Barton, and Jason Barton. Daughter, Hannah Martin. His Father, Glenn Barton Sr. His Brothers, James Barton and Ted Barton. Twelve Grandchildren and One Great Grandchild.
