Jack F. Green DANVILLE – Jack Franklin Green, 91, of Third St., died Thursday April 21, 2022, after a brief illness. Graveside services will be held Saturday April 23, 2022 at 2:00PM in the Danville City Cemetery. Rev. Norman Yukers will officiate. Mr. Green was born in Danville, GA, in the same house he lived in for almost 92 years. He was the son of the late Bernard Franklin Green and Launa Sanders Green. Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Lillian Long Green. After High School, Mr. Green joined the United States Air Force and served four years during the Korean War. Jack was retired from the accounting dept. at Robins Air Force Base. He was a Baptist and regularly attended Walnut Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughter Jackie, and son-in-law Jerry Stinchcomb of Macon. All expressions of condolence will be appreciated.
