CARY, GA - Jackie Mitchell Howell, 84, of Hwy 112, passed away Friday October 2, 2026 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday October 6, 2026 at 11:00AM at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Cary. Burial with Masonic Rites will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Jay Bennett, Rev. Lane Collins, and Harold Reece, Jr. will officiate.

Mr. Howell was born in Cochran, GA the son of the late Willie Lee Howell and Emma Lou Adkins Howell. He was preceded in death by his daughter Tara Michell Howell Raffield, and his brother Lee Howell, Jr. Jackie was a life long resident of Bleckley County. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and was a member of Cool Spring Lodge #185 F.&A.M where he was a Past Master. Jackie was a retired Chief Master Sergeant Veteran of the United States Air Force Reserve.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Bennett Howell. His grandson, Mitchell Raffield. Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00am-11:00am in the church before services.
