James C. “Stump” Lewis DRY BRANCH – James Clarence “Stump” Lewis, 58, passed away Friday in Jacksonville, FL. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday May 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the residence of Frank and Sandy Williams, 31 Lake Valley Rd, Danville, GA 31017. James was born in Macon, GA the son of the late Luther B. Lewis, Jr. and Sandra Hendrix Kelly and was preceded in death by his Step-Father Hurley M. Kelly, Sister Danielle Kelly, Brother Scotty Lewis, Aunts Gloria Spivey and Bessie Stewart, and Uncles, C.C. Hendrix, Jr., and Dave Lewis. “Stump” worked for Textprint and for C & L Tire Service. He was a person who loved his family and friends. He helped everyone raise their kids. Survivors include his Sister, Sandra (Frank) Williams. His brothers Benny (Kristy) Lewis, and Dave (Rosie) Lewis. Aunt Elizabeth Hendrix. Six Nieces and Seven Nephews. Several great nieces and nephews and family.
