James Felton Mickler DANVILLE – James Felton Mickler, 79, of Old Macon Rd., passed away Sunday July 3, 2022 in Dublin. Graveside services will be held Friday July 8, 2022 at 11:00AM at First Baptist Church of New Providence Cemetery in Wilkinson County. Rev. Steve Hamrick and Rev. Larry Partain will officiate. Mr. Mickler was born in Danville, GA (Wilkinson County) the son of the late Clayton and Dora Layton Mickler, and was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Mickler. He was a retired Hydrolift Operator with Engelhard Kaolin. He was a member of First Baptist Church of New Providence. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. James loved doing anything with his family. He loved fishing, hunting, and eating Sunday dinner with the ones he loved. He also loved going to the beach with his family. James loved going to church when he was able, and loved talking about the Lord, and spreading his word. He never met a stranger and was kind to everyone. Survivors include his children, Lisa Mickler and Keith Mickler. His grandson Josh Mickler. His sisters, Joyce Mickler and Annette Rozier. His cousins, J.C. Mickler and David Mickler.
