James Monroe Reece MACON – James Monroe “Jimmy” Reece, 71, of Steeplechase, passed away Saturday in Dublin. Graveside services will be held Sunday August 19, 2018 at 3:00 PM in New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ike Branch will officiate. Mr. Reece was born in Danville (Wilkinson County) Georgia, the son of the late William McKinley “Kenny” Reece and Mary Lee Knight Reece. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Jewel Haines, Earl Reece, Bobby Reece, Ethel Jane Reece, and David Reece. Jimmy was a retired Social Services Tech with River Edge. Jimmy was a Veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include, his Daughter, Angela Reece (Josh) Wilkes, Son, Gregg Allen Reece, Sister, Laverne Reece Bailey. Grandchildren, Jenna Reece Wilkes, and Cody (Jennifer) Reece. Great grandchildren, Colton Reece, Anzlei Reece. Visit www.reecefuneralhomeinc.com to sign the online registry.
