Jesse M. Day

Danville, GA – Jesse M. Day, Jr., 66, passed away October 5, 2022 in Macon, GA. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Jesse was born in Macon, GA to the late Jesse M. Day and Lorraine Cameron Day. Jesse served his country in the United States Marines. He was a retired carpenter. Jesse loved to spend time with his family and also enjoyed woodworking.

Jesse is survived by his children, Sara Sheldon of California, Michael Day of Griffin, Summer Butler of Cochran, and London Day of Milledgeville; brother, Douglas (Shirley) Day of Danville; sister, Joyce C. Nelson of Warner Robins; five grandchildren also survive.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm Saturday at Doug and Shirley’s House in Danville, GA.
